KKR announced two new clean energy deals. The PE behemoth is investing an additional $250 million in the Indian decarbonization company Serentica Renewables and making a $550 million commitment to buy solar energy loans made to SunPower customers.

K K R is putting just under a billion dollars into new clean energy deals. The private equity giant announced a $550 million commitment to buy solar energy loans made to send power customers. Managing director Ay Korn sent in the release that residential solar is a key area of focus for their asset based financial business. He adds that we look forward to supporting one of the industry's leading platforms to provide solar and energy services through this transaction.

K K R is also investing an additional 250 million in the Indian Decarbonisation Company Crea Renewables. The deal follows a $400 million investment in Crea in November. Crea provides complex clean energy solutions for energy intensive hard to abate industries.
